First of all, Incidentals fee+"destination fee", Both of which are " To cover expenses incurred during your stay". the "$60" mandated Valet parking whether you have a vehicle or not/ (which is supposed to be rolled into the incidentals?)" I didn't come up with it. Don't tell me it doesn't exactly make sense or provide a clear picture of the final charges. I have no idea what I will have paid by the end of it all. I asked for early check in and I may have had to forgo getting my incidentals back at all. (early check in was 1pm). Also the card I used for incidentals was charged and the daytime staff raised no issues with anything. Later that night after going out to work and eat I returned to my room with bags and food in tow. I pull out my key card to open the door and what do you know? It isn't working. Not a big deal I though, (this happens a lot with the mag strip key cards). When I got downstairs, there are two ladies working and a concierge and a security guard sitting with the concierge. I stood there while I left all my things outside my door upstairs thinking it would only be a second. THEY WERE SO RUDE. DIDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE ME OR EVEN LOOK UP. After a while of no progress and two staff members not being able to check in the person in front of me, I kindly asked if I could interrupt just to get my key rekeyed. They asked me for my id, the card itself (not lossed) and then my credit card. All of which I provided. Charged me, and there is more but I'm out of...

The value for the money of this place was excellent. You have to pay a small fee for access to the Big Canoe amenities, but it was well worth it. Be aware, this is a cabin-like place in the woods. There are spiders, and lots of them. One or two may even get into your cabin or spin a web on your car. Just remember that you are in their home and you'll be okay. Wifi is spotty at best.
